History of the It's Time to Talk Website

‘It’s Time to Talk’ was a joint partnership project of the City of Canterbury-Bankstown Council and the Canterbury Bankstown Domestic Violence Liaison Committee.

‘It’s Time to Talk’ was a joint partnership project of the City of Canterbury-Bankstown Council (formerly Bankstown City Council and Canterbury City Council) and the Canterbury Bankstown Domestic Violence Liaison Committee (formerly two separate committees).

Domestic Violence impacts all communities, cultures and socio-economic groups. In Canterbury-Bankstown domestic and family violence has been repeatedly identified throughout community consultations and crime profiling as a significant issue for our local community.

Previous Website Resources

It’s Time To Talk has been a ongoing campaign spanning back to the year 2007.
The past initiative had a strong and sole focus on the prevention of domestic violence and providing resources for domestic violence victims.
The old website reflected these aims and had many valuable and important sections too.
